📝 JOINING CRITERIA

  • Commission: Short Service Commission (SSC)

  • Age Limit: Up to 28 years

  • Nationality: Male citizen of Pakistan

  • Marital Status: Married or Unmarried

  • Height Requirement: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm)

📚 Academic Qualification:

  • 🎓 LLB from an HEC-recognized institution

  • ✅ Must be a practicing member of the Bar

  • ✅ Minimum 2 years of experience as an advocate

🚫 INELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

You are ineligible if:

  • ❌ Rejected twice by ISSB

  • ❌ Failed three times in Initial Tests (Intelligence/Academic)

  • ❌ Appeared in ISSB within 120 days of the last attempt (unless waiver granted)

  • ❌ Dismissed from Government or Armed Forces services

  • ❌ Convicted for any criminal offense

  • ❌ Declared permanently unfit by Appeal Medical Board (AMB)

  • ❌ Declared unfit due to Hepatitis B or C

  • ❌ Withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from military academies or cadet colleges

  • ❌ Tampered documents or false information

  • ❌ Positive drug test from CMHs/Military Hospitals/AFIP

  • ❌ Coaching center candidates for ISSB (disqualified if discovered)

💡 Note: ISSB evaluates natural leadership and officer potential. Coaching leads to personality contradictions and is discouraged.

🧠 Initial Tests (MCQs)

1. Intelligence Test:

  • Verbal: 84 questions – 30 minutes

  • Non-Verbal: 64 questions – 30 minutes

2. Academic Test (Law-Based):

  • 50 MCQs – Subject-related content

💪 Physical Tests

Minimum standards:

  • 🏃 1.6 Km Running – 9 minutes

  • 🔄 Push-ups: 10 in 2 minutes

  • 🌀 Crunches: 10 in 2 minutes

  • 💪 Pull-ups: 2 in 2 minutes

🩺 MEDICAL & FINAL SELECTION

  • Preliminary Medical at AS&RC

  • Detailed Medical at CMH (after ISSB recommendation)

🏫 TRAINING
