Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in both Matric and F.Sc (Part I & II) or equivalent (O/A Level) in any of the following subject combinations:

O/A Level students must provide an IBCC equivalence certificate.
Candidates appearing in F.Sc Part-II must have scored at least 65% marks in Part-I and must submit a Hope Certificate duly signed by the head of their institution.
Failure to achieve 60% marks in final result will lead to disqualification.
Pre-Medical students are eligible only if they have studied Additional Mathematics.

Screened out twice by ISSB
Tested within 120 days of a previous ISSB attempt (except by authority waiver)
Dismissed or debarred from government service or armed forces

Declared permanently unfit by the Appeal Medical Board (AMB)
Medically unfit due to Hepatitis B or C
Withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any Armed Forces institution
Tampering with academic certificates, forgery, or misrepresentation
Discharged or resigned from military academy on any grounds

Candidates passing PET and interview will be issued ISSB application forms.
Only merit-based shortlisted candidates will be called for the ISSB test.
Medical examination for ISSB-recommended candidates will be conducted at CMH or PNS Shifa.
Final selection will be made by Naval Headquarters, based on merit.
